Description The Dual Port Fibre Channel Adapter from 8 Gigabit PCI Express is a high-performance adapter based on the Emulex LPe12002 PCIe Host Bus Adapter (HBA). Each door offers the ability of a single initiator on a fiber connection. The doors use LC-type connectors and short wave laser optics. The adapter connects to fiber channel switches and operates at connection speeds of 2, 4 and 8 Gbps, automatically negotiating with the switch at the highest supported speed. LEDs on each door provide information on the status and speed of the door connection.
