The Toshiba MG07ACA14TE is an enterprise nearline hard drive of 14 TB in 3.5?? format, designed to operate 24/7 on servers, NAS and cloud infrastructure. It mounts nine helium sealed discs, turns to 7200 RPM and uses CMR/512e technologies, with 256 MB cache and excellent energy efficiency. It also features technologies such as Persistent Write Cache and current break resistance (PLP). Among the defects reported: noise perceived during writing/clacking operations, sensitivity to vibrations, and in some cases identification problems from BIOS or temporary dropout.
