The DPWC700 / 66XHV module is a Flex Bay adapter that allows you to mount M.2 SSD on SAS/3.5" bays in Dell Precision workstations (series 5000/7000 compatible). It is sold both as Dell original piece and as aftermarket; the SSD is not included and the caddy can be absent (without caddy). Among the defects reported: missing contacts or screws, inconsistencies of compatibility between different chassis, and isolated cases of failure to recognize the drive from BIOS.
